Le Creuset have a range of heat-resistant glass lids to complement its Toughened Non-Stick and enamelled Cast Iron cookware ranges.

The see-through glass lid allows you to check the food you are cooking without disturbing the cooking progress or temperature. It retains moisture and flavour and converts a conventional frying pan into one for poaching, braising or casseroling.

  • Intended for hob use only, where its heating and cooking qualities are used to the full.
  • Use medium and low heats
  • Use oven mitts when lifting
  • Do not plunge the tagine, while hot, into cold water as thermal shock damage to the enamel may occur.
  • Do not use metallic pads or harsh abrasive cleaning agents, such as bleach, as it will damage the enamel.
  • Black enamel cooking surfaces will, over time, produce a patina (a brownish film). Do not attempt to clean this off as it enhances the cooking performance and food release from the surface.

Delivery Schedule

Under normal circumstances, and assuming everything is in stock, we aim to despatch goods within 3-5 working days (or within 48 hours for express delivery) of receiving your order depending on the delivery method we use, your order will then usually take another two days to arrive. So normally order will be with you within 7 working days.

We do not take payment until we despatch the goods.

If for any reason we don't have your items in stock, we'll contact you as soon as possible to let you know, usually with 24 hours of your ordering, except at weekend, when it will at some point Monday PM or Tuesday AM.
